Experiment, Craft, and Discover the Workshops of ZAM

On October 3, 2026, ZAM – Center for Exchange and Making in the Erlangen Old Town invites you to Mouse Day "Doors Open with the Mouse". ZAM opens its workshops for children and families, giving visitors the opportunity to learn about the rooms and offerings of the center.

From 12:00 to 15:00, guests can create small electronics projects and gain hands-on experience. The offer combines playful experimentation with insights into the work and facilities of the workshops. The focus is on discovering together: children and families can experiment, create things themselves, and observe how ideas become concrete projects.

Explore Workshops and Try It Yourself

The program also includes guided tours of the workshops. During a tour, visitors receive an overview of the various areas of ZAM and can get to know the working environment up close. The event thus offers both opportunities to participate and informative insights into the Center for Exchange and Making.

Mouse Day is explicitly aimed at children and families. Small electronics projects, experiments, and tours provide a varied program during the three-hour event period. Those who are not yet familiar with ZAM in Erlangen can take this opportunity to explore the workshops and learn about the center's open, hands-on concept.
