Loud Against Quiet Violence: Music Makes a Statement Against Digital Violence

When music takes a stand, a concert experience with special power emerges: On Friday, October 16, 2026, the Zonta Club Erlangen, together with the Schauspiel Erlangen, invites you to the benefit concert »Loud Against Quiet Violence« at the Markgrafentheater. Lilo Kraus and band combine musical stage performance with a clear message against digital violence, hate on the internet, and cyberbullying.

An Evening Between Bach and Blues

The program musically leads from Bach to Blues Brothers and promises a varied tension arc. Prof. Paulo Morello, Chris Schmitt, and Prof. Lilo Kraus shape the evening with different sound colors, precise synchronization, and visible joy of playing. Between classical orchestration, grooving blues, and distinct stage sound, a live atmosphere emerges that connects concert and social engagement.

Music with Attitude and Responsibility

At the center is the commitment to more safety, awareness, and responsibility in the digital space. The Zonta Club Erlangen supports a specific project with the benefit concert that aims to reduce hate on the internet, empower affected individuals, and particularly protect girls and young women. The stage thus becomes a resonance space for a topic that directly affects many families, schools, and young people.

Theater, Concert, and Commissioned Work

The artistic framework also includes the commissioned work I kill you back by Anita Augustin and Natalie Baudy, initiated in cooperation with the Zonta Club Erlangen. The production deals with cyberbullying, hate speech, stalking, and digital intimidation. The Schauspiel Erlangen connects musical impulses, theatrical aesthetics, and societal debate to create an evening with current relevance.

A Benefit Evening for Erlangen

The Markgrafentheater creates the appropriate space for this special evening with its concentrated acoustics and the immediate proximity between stage and audience. A versatile concert program, engaged artists, and an audience atmosphere that does not end with applause but encourages reflection and action are expected.

If you want to experience music not just as sound, but as a shared statement, you will find an impressive occasion at »Loud Against Quiet Violence«. Secure your place and experience Lilo Kraus and Band live at the Markgrafentheater Erlangen.
