Graffiti Workshop at Big Pump: Color for the gray container

At Big Pump in Frauenaurach, an inconspicuous area will become a visible sign of urban creativity. In the Graffiti Workshop, participants will learn how ideas, lines, and layers of paint come together to create a collective mural – legally, collaboratively, and directly in public space.

Street Art as an Aesthetic Experience

Graffiti combines drawing, typography, color design, and spatial thinking. The container at the pump track offers an unusual canvas where composition and movement converge. Bright colors, distinctive shapes, and dynamic contours shape the exhibition atmosphere in the open air.

Creative Cultural Education with Professional Guidance

An artist will accompany the workshop and provide insights into the fundamentals of street art. Participants will develop their own image ideas and experience how a first sketch transforms into a large-format artwork. The focus will be on artwork observation, practical work, and respectful interaction with urban space.

Creating Together at the Pumptrack

On this day, Big Pump will turn into an open studio. Amidst concrete, movement, and paint cans, a space for encounters and creative self-efficacy will emerge. The art experience is aimed at young people aged ten and up who want to try graffiti and actively shape their neighborhood.
