SuppKultur in Erlangen: A full plate, an open table, a strong sense of community

On Thursday, October 22, 2026, SuppKultur invites you to the community center Frauenaurach. Under the motto international – social – together, the format combines a warm meal with encounters, lived neighborliness, and social participation.

When soup brings people together

In the Aurachsaal, a simple lunch becomes a communal experience. The aroma of soup and stew creates an inviting atmosphere, while conversations arise at the table, bringing together people from different backgrounds, age groups, and life situations.

Festival atmosphere in a small format

SuppKultur is not a festival with a main stage and lineup, but a low-threshold cultural and meeting format with a real sense of community. Hospitality, social responsibility, and the idea that eating together creates closeness are at the heart of it. The protected environment in the community center makes the event a relaxed multi-day experience within a regular series.

Volunteering, diversity, and lived neighborliness

SuppKultur is supported by SuppKultur Erlangen e.V., volunteer engagement, and donations. The initiative was founded in 2025 and aims to bring people together at a table regardless of their background, age, or life situation. The motto international – social – together shapes the character of the event.

Free admission and open to all

Visiting SuppKultur is free of charge. The event starts at 12:00 PM and ends at 1:30 PM. Guests can expect a communal lunch in the indoor spaces of the community center Frauenaurach. Donations support the implementation of the social format.

Conclusion: Life tastes better together

SuppKultur demonstrates how a warm soup can create a special neighborhood moment. Those who want to experience community, diversity, and genuine encounters will find an open table and a warm atmosphere in the Aurachsaal. Mark your calendar now and experience SuppKultur live.
