Storytime Fun in Erlangen: Stories Come to Life
When pictures speak and stories invite awe, a special family experience begins at the Erlangen City Library. In Storytime Fun, children aged 3 and older can enjoy imaginative stories with a companion through Kamishibai theater and the digital reading portal Onilo.
A Small Stage for Big Imagination
The Kamishibai combines reading and visual storytelling. Image by image, a story unfolds that children follow attentively, accompany with their own thoughts, and experience emotionally. Laughter, curiosity, and shared time make Storytime Fun a warm experience for the whole family.
Joy of Reading with Kamishibai and Onilo
Additionally, Onilo opens digital picture book worlds. The combination of text, audio, and meaningfully animated images captures children's attention and supports their motivation to read. Thus, the event combines child-friendly entertainment with an age-appropriate learning experience.
Age-Appropriate, Together, and Safe
Storytime Fun is aimed at children aged 3 and older with a companion. Listening together strengthens language understanding, concentration, imagination, and the exchange between children and adults. The companion stays with the group during the activity, providing a familiar setting for the children.
A Visit to the Erlangen City Library
The Erlangen City Library is a public place for readings, family activities, workshops, and cultural education. It is located in Palais Stutterheim at Marktplatz 1. Families find a calm environment here where books, images, and digital stories come together.
