Build Impressive Decorative Stars: Creative Wood Workshop in Erlangen
When a large, decorative star is created from five prefabricated roof battens, the wood workshop at ZAM becomes a creative meeting point. During the workshop "Build Impressive Decorative Stars" on October 31, 2026, participants will craft a weatherproof piece of jewelry for their balcony, garden, or entrance area in Erlangen.
With Wood, Tools, and Your Own Ideas
In about an hour, five prepared slats will be expertly connected to form an impressive decorative star. Tools and aids are available in the ZAM wood workshop. No prior knowledge is required, allowing beginners to dive straight into practical work.
Three Sizes for Individual Decoration
The material is prepared in three different sizes. After construction, the star offers space for personal design: A string of lights or branches can transform the wooden object into a cozy decoration for the dark season. Thanks to its outdoor suitability, the star is also suitable for external areas.
Workshop Experience at ZAM
ZAM - Center for Exchange and Making combines open workshop, communal learning, and practical event planning. The atmosphere of the wood workshop thrives on shared experimentation, the sound of tools, and the visible progress on individual workpieces. The course is aimed at people who want to gain craft experience and take home a self-built decorative object.
Important Notes for Participation
The workshop takes place on Saturday, October 31, 2026, from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM in the ZAM wood workshop. Registration is required. To hold the course, the minimum number of participants must be reached five days before the date. Early booking secures the spot and supports the execution of the offer.
