Discover Sevillanas: Flamenco for Beginners in Erlangen

Discover Sevillanas: Andalusian Joy of Life in Motion

When the first steps pick up the rhythm, the dance floor transforms into a small fiesta. The workshop Discover Sevillanas – Flamenco for Beginners invites you to Erlangen on October 17, 2026, and offers beginners an immediate access to one of the most traditional dances of Andalusia.

Step by Step into the World of Sevillanas

Under the guidance of Maria de los Angeles Alvarez Rodriguez, participants will learn the basic steps of Sevillanas. This Andalusian couple dance is one of the defining dances of Spanish fiestas and ferias. Its clear sequences of steps, upright posture, and expressive arm movements combine musical precision with personal expression.

Rhythm, Posture, and Spanish Temperament

The dramaturgy of the workshop follows the principle of dance discovery: from individual movements, a lively flow of motion emerges. Footwork, body posture, and arm movements interlock, while the rhythm increasingly provides confidence. This creates an intense stage experience in the safe environment of a dance workshop – without prior knowledge and without partner obligation.

Flamenco Atmosphere for Beginners

The Escuela de Flamenco y Danza Española creates the appropriate space for focused learning and sensual movement. Between rhythmic precision and expressive physical theater, an immediate theatrical atmosphere develops: Every step tells of Andalusia, every posture carries a trace of pride, joy of life, and passion.

Practical Information for the Stage Experience

The workshop is explicitly aimed at beginners and can be booked by individuals. Please bring flamenco shoes or shoes with a wide heel. The event lasts from 10:30 AM to 1:00 PM. The participation fee is 23.10 euros.

Conclusion: Andalusia Begins with the First Step

If you want to not only see Sevillanas but also experience them yourself, this workshop offers a focused and lively entry. Look forward to rhythmic movement, Spanish temperament, and an intense cultural experience in Erlangen. Secure your place and experience the magic of Sevillanas live.
