Figure Drawing at ZAM: Capturing the Human Body with a Few Lines
On Thursday, October 15, 2026, ZAM – Center for Exchange and Making in Erlangen invites you to its weekly figure drawing session. From 8:00 PM to 10:00 PM, an open space for quick sketches, longer poses, and freely chosen positions will be created in a focused event atmosphere.
From the First Stroke to an Expressive Drawing
In figure drawing, precise observation is at the center. Movements, proportions, and characteristic lines are immediately transferred to paper. Short drawing phases sharpen the eye, while longer positions allow for composition, expression, and a refined drawing.
Open Meeting for Beginners and Advanced
Beginners are just as welcome as experienced artists. The open format allows for individual approaches: some participants focus on quick movement sketches, while others delve into anatomy, body posture, or a personal visual language. Please bring your own drawing materials.
Creative Meeting in the ZAM Color Workshop
ZAM connects open workshops, collective learning, and cultural event planning. At the figure drawing meeting, artistic practice, exchange, and a concentrated audience atmosphere come together. The participation fee is 5 euros per evening.
Conclusion: Drawing, Observing, Experimenting
The figure drawing at ZAM offers an immediate event experience for all who want to capture the human body in drawing and further develop their technique. Those who are eager for focused work, new impulses, and drawing together will experience an inspiring creative evening in Erlangen.
