Clay, Ideas, and a Relaxed Workshop Atmosphere in Erlangen
At the pottery workshop in Kulturpunkt Bruck, Monday evenings become a creative break. The open workshop from the E-Werk environment invites people aged 16 and older to work with clay, develop their own shapes, and try out craft techniques in a communal atmosphere.
Open Workshop for Creative Ideas
Whether at the wheel, in free forming, or experimenting with shapes: In the pottery workshop, individual pieces emerge with plenty of room for personal design. Beginners find an accessible entry point, while experienced ceramic enthusiasts deepen their knowledge and implement new ideas.
Creating Together and Learning from Each Other
The volunteer-led initiative combines self-directed work with personal exchange. Workshop leaders assist with practical questions and provide guidance in handling clay. Thus, craft experience, open target group communication, and a calm audience atmosphere come together.
Tools, Glazes, and Personal Expression
For the event experience, tools, glazes, slips, plaster molds, and specialized literature are available. The workshop accommodates about ten pottery enthusiasts, creating a focused setting in which creativity, exchange, and unhurried work can come together. Work clothing and plastic bags or wraps for pieces and clay scraps should be brought along.
Organization and Participation
The pottery workshop takes place on Monday, October 26, 2026, from 7:00 PM to 10:00 PM at Kulturpunkt Bruck. The workshop fee is 3 Euros. Additionally, 4 Euros per kilogram of clay will be charged; this includes material costs as well as bisque and glaze firing. Participation is available for those 16 years and older.
The pottery workshop stands for an event experience away from hectic evening schedules: Clay in hand, focused work, and space for personal ideas. Those who want to combine creative community and hands-on experimentation will experience a special workshop evening in Erlangen at Kulturpunkt Bruck.
