Let's make it together: ZAMräumen in Erlangen
During the weekly ZAMräumen, the center for exchange and making showcases what community engagement can achieve. Volunteers and active participants meet to further prepare workshops and project spaces, giving ZAM more room for exchange, creativity, and collaborative making step by step.
Where work creates community
Hammering, building, laying cables, painting, and cleaning are part of the practical tasks of the ZAMräumen group. This creates a unique event atmosphere: People bring their time, ideas, and craftsmanship. The event experience thrives not on a stage but on the visible progress and the collective mood of shared work.
A place for ideas, workshops, and civic society
The ZAM is a public place in the old town of Erlangen where art, culture, digitalization, science, and technology come together in dialogue with the civic society. Event planning combines volunteer engagement with professional organization and creates the basis for open workshops, creative projects, and new collaborations.
Join in and shape the future
ZAMräumen is aimed at people who want to actively shape their place rather than just observe. Every helping hand contributes to the development of the workshops and project spaces. The format exemplifies civic engagement, sustainable event management, and a vibrant approach to target audiences right in the heart of Erlangen.
Those who experience ZAMräumen live will immediately sense how many individual actions come together to create a common place. Visitors can expect a practical, open evening filled with encounters, movement, and the good feeling of contributing to something lasting.
