Join us for ZAMräumen in Erlangen

During the weekly ZAMräumen, commitment leads to visible change: Volunteers and active participants meet at the Center for Exchange and Making to prepare, tidy up, and further develop workshops and project spaces together.

In the heart of the creative center of Erlangen's old town

ZAM stands for exchange, practical collaboration, and joint creation. Over approximately 2,400 square meters, open workshops and project spaces for technology, science, play, and art come together. During ZAMräumen, this special place is shaped by many helping hands.

Voluntary engagement with visible results

Here, not only the finished result matters, but also the atmosphere among the audience during the collaborative work. Among tools, materials, and project ideas, an open event atmosphere is created, where people with different experiences come together, exchange ideas, and directly make an impact.

Organization, community, and event planning

The regular ZAMräumen demonstrates how voluntary engagement and professional event management work together. The event planning creates space for practical tasks, mutual support, and the continuous development of the ZAM infrastructure. New helpers find direct access to the ZAM community.

Barrier-free center for exchange and making

The ZAM is currently barrier-free accessible except for the metal workshop. Elevators and accessible toilets are available in both buildings. This makes the event location a low-threshold meeting point for people who want to be creatively, technically, or craftily active together.

Conclusion: ZAMräumen connects voluntary engagement, practical work, and community in one of the most unusual open cultural and makerspace venues in Erlangen. Those who want to not only visit the ZAM but actively shape it will experience a direct and meaningful event experience here. Join us now in working together.
