When music plays and the first steps succeed in rhythm, a special movement class for mamas and their babies is created at the community center Die Scheune. In MAWIBA® dancing, gentle fitness, closeness, and a careful re-entry after birth come together.
Gentle choreographies focusing on the pelvic floor
Simple, pelvic floor-strengthening choreographies are the focus. The movements support an upright posture and promote fitness while the babies safely stay close to their mama in the carrier. This creates a relaxed atmosphere where movement and intimate closeness go hand in hand.
A mindful re-entry after birth
The offering is aimed at mamas who want to become active again after giving birth. A positive postnatal check with the gynecologist is required, usually from the eighth week after birth. Certified MAWIBA® trainer Kristina Lorper expertly guides the participants through the class.
What to bring for the dance class
For the movement session, sports shoes, a personal carrier, and a yoga mat or thick blanket are needed. The baby can be safely laid down if necessary. Joining the ongoing course is possible.
