5400 Seconds of Drama: The Love for Theater Comes Alive
Once a month, the foyer of the Markgrafentheater transforms into an open play space for strong emotions, spontaneous scenes, and immediate theatrical energy. During the Theater Crash Course on October 17, 2026, participants will discover the joy of playing and improvisation in a small group.
Improvisation Without Fear of Contact
Here, theater does not start with a finished text, but with the first impulse. Those who want to play freely, experiment with characters, and let dramatic situations arise will find the right stage space in this format. No prior knowledge is required.
Direction, Acting, and Collaborative Play
The crash course offers theater as an immediate stage experience. Body, voice, facial expressions, and reactions interact while short scenes grow from individual ideas. The dramaturgy emerges in the moment: each movement changes the situation, and every glance opens up a new direction of play.
Theater Atmosphere in the Markgrafentheater
The foyer on the second level of the Markgrafentheater creates a special closeness between the players and the space. Away from the classic audience area, a concentrated theater atmosphere arises, where courage, imagination, and collaborative exploration are at the center. The format is aimed at people aged 16 to 101 and offers space for a maximum of 20 participants.
A Compact Evening Full of Energy
The 5400 seconds correspond to 90 minutes of intensive theater work. From 5:00 PM to 6:30 PM, there is time for improvisation, spontaneous role changes, and the development of personal scenes. The meeting point is at the entrance of the Markgrafentheater.
Conclusion: Stage is Set for New Joy of Playing
The theater crash course invites participants to discover their own voice, overcome inhibitions, and experience acting directly. Those who want to do more than just observe theater will find a concentrated and inspiring stage experience here. Registration is done via email to theaterpaedagogik@schauspiel-erlangen.de.
