Seven years ago, I stumbled upon the E-Werk for the first time – for a concert that remains etched in my memory to this day (in the best possible way!). Since then, the E-Werk has been like a safe haven for me, guaranteeing great nights out: concerts, parties, flea markets, informational events, or simply a mental escape on the dance floor – I've never been disappointed. It's that special vibe that's hard to describe: you just feel comfortable, meet great people, and dance even when the dance floor is empty – until your feet practically refuse to leave the ground after a night of revelry. Sure, there are a few minor things you could notice, but the positives have always outweighed the negatives for me. Throughout my years in Erlangen, the E-Werk has been a guarantee of good memories – and to this day, it remains a second home to which I always love returning.

Great venue offering a wide variety of fantastic events. The drink prices are very affordable, which is great for students. However, I was disappointed with the food. The pizza ran out an hour after the event started, so we chose alternative main courses. The menu advertised a falafel plate with couscous salad and a mixed side salad as a main course. This consisted of three small falafel balls, a spoonful of ready-made couscous (which, unfortunately, isn't a couscous salad), a spoonful of beetroot, and a spoonful of carrots, all from a jar. 😕 I found that quite disappointing... it wasn't filling, nor did it meet the expectations set by the menu. There's definitely room for improvement here. Otherwise, the event was great, the atmosphere was fantastic, and the staff were friendly.

I was really annoyed today at 4 Songs for a Hallelujah. Around 6:10 PM, we ordered two dishes (pizza and fries) on a pager. Knowing it always takes a long time, we waited patiently. But after over two hours (!!!), our patience finally ran out. When we asked, they said they were out of pizza for the day and couldn't notify us. We got our money back, but no other compensation. Afterwards, I ordered fries and a sandwich on a pager again. When I went to get my food at the counter, only the fries were ready. The sandwich didn't arrive until five minutes later after I asked about it (so it had apparently been forgotten). What really infuriates me is that the pager was activated for the second order even though only one of the two dishes was ready. Why wasn't that done the first time? Then we wouldn't have waited for nothing. We also didn't receive the fries from the first order. The event itself was fantastic, as always! The prices for food and drinks were also perfectly reasonable.

The kitchen has gone downhill. They were out of pizza 10 minutes after we opened. The wait for fries and ciabatta was over 50 minutes. It's really not enjoyable at your place.

This place calls itself a restaurant, but they can't seem to get their kitchen right. There were three of us on a Sunday evening, and we wanted to order food along with drinks. For reasons that were never explained, the kitchen was unable to serve us anything à la carte. After 80 minutes and four unsuccessful attempts to order, I gave up in frustration. Update: After a total of 90 minutes, they finally signaled that it was possible to order food. My wife went ahead and ordered, which led to another wait of just over 70 minutes for a portion of ham and noodles. 🤬 Seriously, guys... 🤬 The sad thing was, the live jazz music and the food weren't even bad. All in all, you won't be seeing us again! 👋🏼
