What has been done here, and will surely continue to be done, is worthy of the highest recognition. Thank you to all the doctors, nurses, and the physiotherapist Carmen, as well as everyone who is part of this great team. My wife felt incredibly comfortable and understood with you, despite her severe illness, and when it was time for her to go, she could do so without fear and pain. My mother passed away 4 years ago, and my father just recently at the palliative care unit in Erlangen (Europakanal). The atmosphere was very pleasant, and the staff was exceptionally friendly and accommodating. I felt it was a good place for the last hours or days of life. Nurses and doctors here work with so much heart for their profession. They are always there with a lot of love for their patients and their relatives. What did the unit manager say when I was once again crying in the hallway? If you need someone to cry to, we are always here for you. I thank the entire team for making the last time for the dying as pleasant as possible. And at all times, they are there with great commitment for us relatives. Just stay as you are!
