Dance together, move and draw new energy
On Tuesday, November 3, 2026, the community center Die Scheune in Erlangen invites you to a special movement session for moms and their babies. Dancing according to the MAWIBA® concept combines gentle fitness, closeness, and a careful re-entry after giving birth.
Gentle Choreographies for Re-entry
The focus is on simple choreographies that strengthen the pelvic floor and support an upright posture. The dance movements promote fitness and create a protected environment where mothers can become active without sacrificing closeness to their baby.
Babies Close to Their Mamas
During the session, babies cuddle up in the carrier against their mama. This creates a relaxed atmosphere with music, movement, and familiar closeness. Sports shoes, a personal carrier, and a yoga mat or thick blanket for possibly laying down the baby are part of the required equipment.
Requirements and Leadership
Participation requires a positive postnatal check from the gynecologist. This typically occurs from the eighth week after birth. The course is led by Kristina Lorper, a certified MAWIBA® trainer. Joining the course at a later stage is possible.
Conclusion
The event offers moms an active break with their baby and a gentle path back to movement and fitness. Those wishing to combine dancing, pelvic floor training, and quality time with their offspring will experience a motivating movement session in the stadium atmosphere of the room, though not a competitive duel, but instead plenty of closeness and positive energy.
